Malvagio Castle

Sebastian was as busy as ever lately and had not taken a single break since they had found out that he and his fiance were going to be parents for the first time, he could not rest easy knowing that there were dangerous beings down in the dungeon right underneath the feet of his growing family. Running the risk of one of those vile creatures breaking free was foolish and Seb made sure to take care of such by removing the captive lycans from the dungeon and into another one of the Malvagio's many, many buildings that they owned. This was very similar to the dungeon that they had been kept in except this one was locked up tighter than Alcatraz and they could continue their business there. Sure, it would have been easier to just kill them all right on the spot back at the castle but other vampires paid him healthy sums of money for his lycans to torture themselves or put into some sort of sick game. He also got paid for skinning them and selling their flesh on the underground market. Sick, very sick, but Sebastian took joy in anything that caused a werewolf any sort of pain. That and he enjoyed money. And after they had finished that task, he had assigned many other vampire minions of his to patrol the grounds around the clock to make sure no unwanted guests even got close to their home. You could say that Sebastian was over thinking things and going a little to far, but he was honestly just paranoid that something would choose to go wrong at this time and he feared that the most.

In the mean time, he had found his brother snooping around the perimeter with the excuse of trying to test how well his little patrols would handle him and he had run right into his little brother. Seb had all but torn Thomas' head off when he found him. Though he had to be honest with Seb, he was really coming around to see what all the younger of the brothers was up to seeing as how they had not spoken in months and was quite surprised to hear that soon he would be an uncle but nonetheless ecstatic. He was very happy that his little brother was starting a family and being quite responsible about it as well. Thomas had always imagined that Seb would be the one who didn't intend to get a girl pregnant and just assumed the role of being the father because he really had no other choice. But he had proved his brother wrong and that both impressed him and made him proud of Sebastian, there was not a wink of doubt in Thomas' mind that Seb was going to be a great father. Not long after, the two had began to move inside of the large home to relax a bit, plus Tom had hinted around that he wanted to partake in a spot of hot blood and crash there for the night. Of course, he would not object to family so Seb allowed him to do such.

Scarlet's gaze turned towards the scissors that were against her bathroom sink. She then turned her gaze towards her face ignoring the large basketball under her shirt she starred at her hair. The long golden hair that came to her mid back. She then picked up the shark object and smirked, "Well Scarlet, you were in need of a change anyway." She grabbed a piece of her hair and opening the scissors she began to cut. Off went her beautiful long locks as they fell towards the ground. Soon enough it was cut just above her shoulders. She starred at herself in the mirror now and gave a small smirk. She shook out the bouncy short waves and gave a small giggle. She actually liked it running her nimble fingers through it she once more shook it out. It made her look much more mature and kinda hot. 

She giggled and then slowly descended downwards to the stairs as she heard someone seem to come in. At first she was thinking it might be some mutts and slowly did she travel towards the front end of the large castle structure. She maneuvered, well, more of a waddle towards where she heard a sound. How idiotic of her, a pregnant vampire and she thinks she can defend herself any moment. She hated when Sebastian left to go out and search the border is made her worried. As she saw just who the intruders were she got slightly less worried. The pregnant vampiress' gaze turned to see a familiar face and she beamed up with surprise, "Thomas!" She giggled and quickly made her way over towards her almost brother-in-law giving him a soft kiss against the cheek. She smiled upwards towards him as her bright blue eyes gazed towards him, her fresh haircut forgotten for a second.

Sebastian had disappeared into the kitchen to fetch he and his brother a few drinks, knowing Thomas he'd want something with a little kick to it, he was sure he could find something to satisfy his taste as they had quite the collection of different preserved blood. Not just human either, Seb had experimented with various species and whatnot and some had proved to be rather delectable like the hybrids' blood and especially demon, he had taken a fancy to that. It was slightly spicy and had a wonderful aftertaste. Perhaps Thomas would like it too. He poured a cup for his brother and then one for himself, warming it up quickly in the microwave he had recently acquired. Surprisingly, Sebastian had never used one in the past and never needed to but it did make heating up his meals much faster and that he did enjoy. Humming to himself, he grabbed the two mugs and began to head back towards the living room.

Thomas had occupied his time by looking over old photographs that had still clung to the castle walls, images of previous Malvagio owners and their families captured in time and some of them he could recall and others were much too old for his time. For the longest time he stared at the one of his family with his still heart tugging and a small sigh escaped the vampire male, frowning. They were so close back then, each one of them, but now the only two that actually spoke to one another was he and his younger brother, their parents had disappeared long ago as well as their older sister who had progressively become distant from them before she ran off. Last he anyone had heard about her was that she was traveling around Europe. Thomas just shook his head, quickly though he was pulled out of his thoughts as a familiar feminine voice pipped up from the entrance of the room and the male turned around to see his brother's fiance standing there, finally a smile crept to his features. As she proceeded to greet him with friendly peck on the cheek he returned the gesture and smiled down at the little vampiress."Ah, good to see you, Scarlet. I believe a congratulations are in order."

Sebastian had finally brought the mugs in when he found that now his mate had awoken and had joined them, he should have gotten another cup for her. Smiling he casually and quietly entered the living room, of course his brother gave him away so there was no point in that now, Seb rolled his green eyes and handed the fool his drink."Someone's late getting up." He commented playfully towards Scarlet and moved to his mate's side, slipping an arm around her Seb gave her a quick kiss."Sleep well?"

She knew that Sebastian had already dismissed himself to rummage in the kitchen and after a few begs he had bought that microwave she needed. Ignoring about her mate's where-a-bouts for she knew he would be with them in a few moments she smiled as her cheek was softly pecked against and a soft smile cased downwards towards her smaller form, well besides the large Santa belly she had gotten. She rested her hands on the outer edge of her swollen abdomen and at him comment she giggled lightly, "Why thank you sir." She beamed out and then turned her gaze towards the painting he was looking at. 

She hadn't really paid attention to the wall of the many Malvagio's and their family members however this one she knew exactly who it was. She gazed at it zeroing in on the children and she easily found the youngest brother with his soft emerald gaze. She knew the other was Thomas and then she realized that the older girl was their sister. She starred at it and then she looked down. She wanted her sister back, her father, her family. Luckily for Sebastian his brother cared enough for him to still hang around. She sighed Spencer, her missing piece, has been missing for quite sometime and she needed her. 

She didn't hear Sebastian as he came in nor did she notice his brother's hints that he was around. She had a distant look in her eyes but soon enough her skin jumped as she felt another voice coming from the room and she blinked once then twice trying to clear her cloudy vision. Her gaze hit towards her mate as he stepped beside her she laughed softly, "I was not sleeping. I've been up, you know how worried I get when you're out checking the boarders." she said with a soft sigh and then as she felt his arm slip around her waist she leaned slightly into him and returned his quick kiss, "I've slept good enough, this little one kept kicking me through the night." she smiled and rubbed her bruises that were behind her shirt. Then she finally realized that he didn't say anything about her hair, "Well, Seb," she started out, "notice anything different?" She asked even bouncing her hair a bit for emphasis.

Thomas gratefully accepted the large mugful of blood that his brother had warmed up and offered him, it would satisfy his parched throat and desire right now. Honestly he was too lazy to go out and feed directly from the source like he normally would on nights like these, Seb knew it too and figured he'd cut Thomas a break and tend to him. Of course he would expect that one day he would repay this small favor. Perhaps babysit or help out with duties around the castle. Thomas adored children so taking care of his brother's son or daughter wouldn't be a problem at all and Sebastian also wished that his brother was involved with his child's life, they had no other family now since Scar's twin went missing long ago. He brought the hot mug to his lips and sipped at the thick and spicy liquid, it was not human blood but it was delicious, if Seb were to tell him what it was he'd be shocked to hell.

Sebastian continued to smile brightly down at his mate whom he had around the waist and chuckled gently as she claimed to not have been sleeping at all. He figured that she hadn't as he was told many a time how much she was worried for him while he was tending to the borders and making sure security was running smoothly and as it should. The younger male nodded in understanding but it was for her best interest and the baby's that he do so every evening. No mutt nor other vampire were getting anywhere near the territory without him knowing and dispatching them. Slayers had been frequenting the area as well and that worried him sick, more than likely they were out collecting information on him and his brother, their family too, so that they could finally take a stab at getting rid of the vampire menace. Sebastian was doing them a favor by keeping down the werewolf population and out of their hair, the least they could do was leave him and his family alone. Bringing himself out of thought, he chuckled once more as Scarlet announced the night activities of their little one, smiling down at her enlarged abdomen he placed a gentle hand on it."Aw, be easy on your mother, save all that kicking for me." He laughed softly again and then turned his emerald hues back up to her.

How could he not have noticed? What an ass he was for not saying anything and he felt ungodly rude, Sebastian tried to play it cool but when Thomas scoffed at his little brother he bit his lip and gave the older man a look. Thomas cleared his throat and forced a laugh down knowing how foolish Seb felt, he pretended that his cup was empty so that he may leave the room."Well, Sebby, I'm surprised you didn't notice. And may I say that you look beautiful with short hair, Scarlet. If you'll excuse me I need to go place this in the kitchen." Thomas dipped his head and quickly headed off, Seb glared at the back of his brother's head before his attention snapped right back to Scarlet, quickly smiling though he still felt bad for not saying anything sooner."I love what you've done with your hair, dear. You can pull off any length and still look gorgeous." Hopefully he could redeem himself.

The vampiress watched Sebastian for a little while, noticing but just the way his lips quirked downwards that something was up. She tried not to, oh she tried so hard but instantly she traveled into his mind she knew that he wasn't going to tell her about what has been lurking around the territory to keep her out of the know would be best. However, Scarlet didn't care she soon found out that slayers were becoming frequent and kept an eye on she and Seb. Pausing, the short haired blonde gave a frown, there were slayers in their territory. She tried not to freak out but more then ever she just wanted Sebastian to stay with her in the castle even more. She didn't want him getting hurt or anything as she felt her belly get covered by a large hand she gave a small smile and laughed at his comment, "Daddy doesn't know what he's saying when he says that." She smirked and then looked back towards Sebastian. She felt a solid kick against her abdomen and she bent over a little breathing heavily, "Damn..." She whispered. 

Once the feeling subsided she returned straight back up and gave a deep inhale and then exhale of breath. She really hoped this baby came out soon she felt herself slowly wilting away. Then her gaze went towards Thomas and she smiled, "Thank you, Thomas." She laughed and watched as he left with his "empty" cup towards the kitchen, "If he thinks I believe that cup isn't half full he doesn't know me very well." She then said loud enough, "Nice excuse, love!" Before she returned her eyes back to Sebastian she smiled and gently touched the side of his face, "I'll let you out of the bat house this time." She smirked and then she grew serious, "Slayers...?" She asked, "Were you going to tell me ab-" She didn't even finish her sentence. She felt an horrific kick and then she felt liquid fall from her legs, "Oh shit, oh shit, oh my gosh! My water broke!" She practically screeched not knowing what to do, child labor was painful panic and fear struck in her eyes as she looked to Seb. Maybe he had the answers of what they were supposed to do. She knew that they going to the hospital that was located Underground but she continued to breath heavily, in, out, out, in. Then the realization hit her, they were having a baby.

Unbeknownst to him, there was a certain little vampire roaming around in his mind picking up all the details he was thinking about, had he been aware of such Sebastian would have kept himself from thinking anything of the dangers that lurked just outside on their very doorstep. Recently, more and more of those damn Slayers had been roaming too close for comfort and he was getting more and more nervous each time he spotted them. The deal that they had agreed on was that Sebastian was to eliminate only the most hostile and bloodthirsty of the lycans and in return they would make sure that the Malvagio family was left alone from their society members as well as other creatures that may be looming around the castle. That was the deal and Sebastian well... Kinda broke it. But for a good reason! Thomas had tipped him off that there were a few younger wolves, just curious adolescents as he put it, that had mistakenly roamed onto the vampire's territory. He wouldn't have taken such a drastic measure but his younger brother was still hell bent on destroying every last one of the mutts up in the afterlife permanently. Sebastian was easily able to dispatch them and those damn Slayers found out rather quickly, spies had to have been watching the place to be able to know.. It was his fault that they were moving in on he and his family now. Seb didn't want to raise and alarm with Scarlet for she didn't need to worry and become stressed as she carried his child, he was keeping it under wraps for their best interest.

Pulling himself out of his thoughts, still unaware that she had just heard every single little word that came into his mind, he listened to Scarlet as she spoke and gave his own soft laugh."I probably don't, but- Holy shit." He cut himself off as he was taken back by how strong that last kick had been, he could only imagine what she had just felt. Lips pulling into a frown,''You okay, dear?" Asked the vampire softly as she all but crumbled over. Surely it was getting to be about that time for their son or daughter to come out as vampire children grew fast and she had been pregnant for a while now. Sebastian had made arrangements with the hospital for when the time came, not the one that every mortal went to, no, there was one in the Underground that specialized in their kind and various others. It was safer and easier to keep their species from being found out. The last thing they needed was a human doctor questioning why their baby didn't have a heartbeat and was still alive.

Soon, she seemed to return to normal for the most part, and at her comment towards his lovely brother he gave another laugh and shook his head."He may be older than me, but sometimes he isn't all too bright. Neither one of us could ever fool you though." And boy was that true, she was sharp and always knew when something was up, if he lied to her she would know and if he kept something from her well she would just dive right into his mind and get it herself. Upon remembering that, he tensed up and bit his lip. All this thinking about Slayers earlier without shutting her out of his mind was dangerous and she could have easily listened in on him without the male knowing... And her following question confirmed his fear that she had indeed invaded his mind and over heard his thoughts. If he had a heart it would have dropped. Sebastian was about to explain himself after she finished talking when she just about screamed suddenly, causing him to jump, the realization of her words caused him to snap out of it. Connecting his gaze with her's he could see all the fear in her and how she was expecting him to know what to do, so he told her to stay put and keep breathing in and out like she was while he went to fetch the car. Thomas had heard her from the kitchen and dropped hid mug when she exclaimed, shattering it, though he would clean it up later. While his brother brought the car around to the front of the castle, Thomas quickly made his way back into the living room to aid her in making it out."Seb! I'll follow you guys out on my bike." The older male told his brother who nodded quickly and helped ease Scarlet into the front seat."Its going to be okay, Scar, keep doing what your doing and we'll be at the hospital in no time." Closing the passenger side door, he hopped into the driver's side and pulled out of the driveway trying not to go like a bat outta hell but he was still going way over the speed limit.
